Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you? We've got some work to do now!
Oh, Scooby. For so many years I would watch Scooby Doo almost every night, there was little else to watch at 1AM on a weeknight so why not? After I got over the 70's quality of it I really began to enjoy it! And so, in continuing with my "make stuff based on Kyoti's nostalgia" theme I've finally fleshed out an idea that floated into my mind months ago.
I like to mix up things up a bit and not have just giant collections so this is only a trio based on my personal favorite things from the show. Presenting, Jinkies!

Being a brainy girl myself I always loved Velma most (and she's the namesake of the entire collection) so let's begin with her, shall we?
Jinkies!
Jinkies! is an orange jelly base with red hex, squares, and bars.
Brainy and beautiful, Velma helped me overcome my insecurities about wearing glasses and being quite a bookworm in my youth. Her polish, however, suffers from no such awkwardness and fears, and only her beauty remains!

Mystery Machine
Densely packed neon green and neon blue hex in a clear base.
After months and months of trying to snag a bottle of Floam I decided to take matters into my own hands and as I know this is a very common problem I wanted to share with you all as well! Anyways, I always think of the mystery machine when I see the green and blue glitters anyway, never Floam!
Due to the densely packed glitters this does have a rougher finish and may require more than one coat of topcoat to be smooth. I'm sorry there's no full-mani swatch of Mystery Machine but I wasn't interested in the ensuing torture that would surely come when I needed to remove it. The swatch shows only 2 coats over bare nail!

Ruh-Roh!
Dark brown jelly with various sizes of black hex.
I'm generally not a fan of the larger glitters but for Scooby I had to make an exception, and boy am I glad I did!
The larger glitters can sink but I had no issues getting an adequate amount on the nail.

And there you have it, folks! What do you think of these lacquers? I've been hesitant to release Mystery Machine since the original glitter combination was thought of by someone else. However, it's so insanely hard to get your hands on (and c'mon, those are totally Mystery Machine colors!) I finally decided to do so. I expect some people will disagree with my decision and that's absolutely their right!
In other news, I mentioned this yesterday on my Facebook but for those of you who missed it: I will be discontinuing the Nautical Nonsense collection on August 16th so if you want to fuel your cartoon-related lacquer addiction now is the time!
To anyone who has made an order in the last 48 hours or so and would like to add to their order please contact me to discuss shipping reimbursement!
